A few words from the founder of Indygo Arts & Crafts:
Welcome to Indygo Arts & Crafts! As an Art and Design Educator with over a decade of experience in London schools, I'm deeply passionate about art, fashion and design. Before teaching, I worked in various areas of the Fashion and Clothing industry, fuelled by a degree in the field. Arts and crafts have been my lifelong therapeutic outlet, helping me navigate both challenges and triumphs. Creating arts and crafts not only allows me to focus but also results in beautiful pieces that I wear, use at home, or share with loved ones. The process of making and the joy of creativity has been instrumental in maintaining my mental health and fostering positive connections with my family and friends.

Here's a taste of what you can achieve with the full guidance and support of our expert crafter at Indygo Arts & Crafts.
We have a variety of workshops available as well as small group and one-to-one tailored sessions.
Hand Embroidery
Learn to use a range of different stitches to create a hand embroidered piece. Our embroidery workshops foster creativity and promote relaxation through mindful stitching. This traditional craft has been cherished for many generations all over the world. This meditative process can reduce stress and enhance focus and general wellbeing.
Appliqué
Layer fabric to add vibrancy, colour, texture and dimension to any fabric surface. Learning to use the appliqué technique is great for creating one-off customised pieces. Promoting sustainability, this technique allows you to reuse scraps and bring new life and style to otherwise discarded items.
Printing
Learn to design and produce a variety of printing methods including block, stencil, screen, transfer and mono printing. Printing allows for intricate patterns and detailed imagery to be applied to fabric and paper. There is a printing technique out there for everyone of all ages and abilities. This fun, exciting technique is highly rewarding and can be achieved in a matter of seconds.
